The mission of Camelot for Children, Inc., a non-profit organization, is to be a gathering place for seriously, chronically, and terminally ill, handicapped or disabled children; to foster an environment of emotional support among these special children and their families; to provide opportunities for these special children to interact with each other in a family/home setting; and to help to develop their physical and mental abilities. 

Camelot for Children is approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is tax exempt and appears on the IRS list of charitable organizations. Camelot for Children is registered with the PA Bureau of Charitable Organizations. Camelot for Children is guided by an all volunteer Board of Directors composed of concerned community leaders who direct the programs, authorize activities and raise and allocate funds. The salaried Executive Director and Assistant Director are responsible for the following: day-to-day activities, all written communications, working with the Board of Directors, supervising a registered nurse, maintaining collaborative efforts with the area hospitals and health care facilities, recruiting and supervising volunteers and acting as a liaison to the community. Camelot for Children is audited yearly by an independent accounting firm.
