History of Camelot for Children

Non Profit Information Camelot for Children is approved by the IRS as a 501c (3) charitable organization, is tax exempt and appears on the IRS list of charitable organizations. Camelot for Children is registered with the PA Bureau of Charitable Organizations. Financial information may be obtained from the PA Department of State by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania, 800/732-0999. Camelot for Children is guided by an all volunteer Board of Directors composed of concerned community leaders who direct the programs, authorize activities and raise and allocate funds. A salaried executive director is responsible for day-to-day activities, all written communications, working with the Board of Directors, supervising a registered pediatric nurse, maintaining collaborative efforts with the area hospitals and health care facilities, recruiting and supervising volunteers and acting as a liaison to the community. Camelot for Children is audited yearly by an independent accounting firm. |
